Finn, also known as Scott Patrick, has accumulated several crafts and skills over his brief lifetime. Born in 1969, in Columbia, SC, he lived in parts of South Carolina up until 1993. He then moved to Hornell, NY, in pursuit of a new lifestyle and hopefully better employment opportunities. He soon met and befriended many people in the area who share a common interest in medieval studies. One of his childhood friends, Greg Reynolds, also moved into Hornell a year later and now raising his own family.

Among the other skills learned are basic blacksmithing, basic carpentry, artistic creation, sheet metal fabrication, computer information technology, kenjutsu, knight's training, and a self-proclaimed Arthurian historian. He is a Freemason, Knight Templar, and a student of ancient and lost wisdom including, foremost, medieval skills and crafts.
